Pros

Hybrid working, 3 days from home. Pay is reasonable compared to similar roles but hasn't been increased to account for the doubling in workload.

Cons

High staff turnover without their cases being reassigned. Badly understaffed, average case count has doubled since the middle of the year with no support given for this. Very unwelcoming if you aren't part of the clique, you get treated like you don't exist whilst the rest of the team are very close friends and will have long and loud conversations all day to the point where this is raised in the Teams chat on a fairly regular basis. Management doesn't address concerns raised if you aren't part of this clique but will take action against you even though you perform no worse than the rest of the team. Never responded to a flexible working request despite being legally obliged to. Update: they also didn't respond to my tribunal claim within the time limit set by the tribunal so good luck getting anything resolved with these people

Pros

Flexible remote work environment with supportive supervisors and helpful team members. The training was well organized and provided the tools needed to assist customers effectively. It was a good opportunity to improve communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills while working with a diverse customer base.

Cons

Some days had high call volumes, which could be stressful during peak periods. Performance metrics were closely monitored, and certain customer issues required coordination with multiple departments, which could sometimes delay resolutions.
