Pros

Work was there money was decent

Cons

I was an assistant manager for 2 years and a technician as well for half that time as we weren't seen as a viable location to keep a technician. I purchased my own tools and brought a lot of my own furniture from home to furnish the lobby and sales desk. When we closed the location I caught the district manager running off with a lot of the furniture and selling/giving away whatever tools I had loose and not locked in my tool box.

Pros

Through my career I have learned a lot on the automotive industry.

Cons

Corporate found a way to cut payroll by approximately $1k monthly to former assistant managers by eliminating the overtime associated with the position and eliminating the position , renamed it and lowered the hourly rate and put them under " commission ". Results...many guys looking for a new job cause with cost of living constantly increasing pay went down drastically plus most stores are understaffed but corporate keeps pushing for productivity, really bad work environment.
