Pros

Ummmmmm.... There honestly no pros that I can see but it says I have to have a 20 word minimum.

Cons

Hours. If you're not full time you're screwed. 24 hours is usually my average. Some of the people they employ are the dumbest people I have ever met. Techs don't get paid on their full flat rate anymore. They don't want to work. Workplace is miserable. Management is clueless. As for full time after 2 years. Nope. Raise? Nope. Service advisors get 9.15/hr in my market with only a whopping 2.5% commission. Average paycheck for a person that closes 24-32 hours a week is about 600$/ pay period (2 weeks). 20% discount on overpriced parts (can get them cheaper using pepboys commercial discount at other parts houses). Buildings generally located in the ghetto and will bring in lowest common denominator customers. Our customers get better discounts than the employees do.

Pros

Through my career I have learned a lot on the automotive industry.

Cons

Corporate found a way to cut payroll by approximately $1k monthly to former assistant managers by eliminating the overtime associated with the position and eliminating the position , renamed it and lowered the hourly rate and put them under " commission ". Results...many guys looking for a new job cause with cost of living constantly increasing pay went down drastically plus most stores are understaffed but corporate keeps pushing for productivity, really bad work environment.
