Pros
Payslips were on time Due to the incredible workload - I was able to develop myself
Cons
Politics. Lots of office politics. Having ability, insight, experience and merit comes second to laughing at the right peoples' jokes. Leadership is fried. Critical concerns (which directly impact quality of output) are ignored if inconvenient. All the amazing people I know who have worked there have departed for green pastures. I was very lucky to have people to learn from and collaborate with. But since cutting costs and centralizing office politics is the main focus - that no longer remains. Pay is bad. Being good at your job, owning additional responsibilities and delivering the impossible isn't enough. You have to have friends in the right places or your work is completely invisible. In which case, you're left with no opportunity for promotion. If you care about quality. There day-to-day work probably isn't for you. No one is fighting for you. You are alone to be chewed up and spat out.
