Pros
Penske is a big company but logistics is a small world which makes it easier to feel a part of a personal team that builds on each other's strengths. Penske Logistics seems to really care and value their employees which makes you want to stay with the company for years and build a career rather than jumping ship from one provider to the next. They value work ethic and provide opportunities for you to cross train to learn new skills and grow while also valuing work life balance.
Cons
Like any other logistics provider, there is the risk of not getting a renewed contract and having to switch to a new Penske team depending on the company you are contracted for. Anyone in logistics knows this struggle but with a new position comes new skills and opportunities. There is the occasional need to work overtime especially during transitions but it is often very well managed to effectively spread the workload to prevent that from being a continuing need.
