Pros
Made some good contacts. Learned a few new things.
Cons
I had high hopes for this posting. It's a great job, and the systems and processes are easy to work with. Unfortunately, my predecessor is a narcissistic, insecure person, which makes for a horrible work environment. I'm not 100% if any of the department heads are even aware, or care for that matter. It's also expected to be indispensable 24-7. The pay would need to increase by a lot to be able to tolerate that into anyone's work life balance. I know there was a lot that I could have learned from them, but this is not realistically feasible to suffer this treatment. Moving on. Life's too short, and there's so much more to offer out there. No time to waste.
