Pros
Good benefits and flexibility. Values and culture are important to the new president.
Cons
Low raises. Salary low for overall market. Hard to attract/recruit outside expertise because of low pay. Hires low-level IT people with our senior level-mentors, so not all IT work is done in an efficient scalable manner. Penny-wise, pound foolish since a senior IT person with one or two lower level people can do the work of 5 lower-level people and have a much better product.
