Pros
Supervisors are really great to work with and super flexible with home life schedules. I am a long term substitute teacher and I also have children with special needs and have never had a problem with taking off of work for appointments. They offer insurance too! It's pretty good insurance. Medical, dental, vision, disability, life, etc. pay is pretty great too.
Cons
Only con to being a substitute teacher through Penmac is that you don't get paid during school breaks but that's not the company's fault
