      Fast paced environment with a close knit team. Management gives the opportunity for scientists, engineers, and technicians to voice their ideas and test them in the lab. Competitive pay for new engineers, especially in the renewable energy field.

      Cons

      Job security can be an issue at any startup. Sometimes can be slow to purchase equipment that is needed in the lab.

      Good leadership, and good people to work with. Engineering team is well-organized and focused. Can learn variety of techniques from Sr. scientist if willing to do so. Create electrochemical foundation outside classroom. Generous and approachable upper management.

      Cons

      Work can get repetitive for lower level employees. May not always have "free" time to research and review literature for current projects.
