Pros
Flexible Schedule, Something new everyday
Cons
Two week training was talked up to be the greatest experience ever, was completely irrelevant to the job, Did nothing to prepare or teach us how to deal with managing the stress of this job and the insane amount of responsibility and paperwork. You are taught boundaries and the company does not respect your own. Especially when it comes to your safety and who you want to work with. They do not answer the phone, even in an emergency. They say this job is a way to help others using lived in experience but you are not even asked what your experience is or diagnosis. I have seen and experienced second-hand trauma and extreme cold passion fatigue. The hours are so unstable you can not rely on a consistent income. Nothing but broken promises from this place and my own mental health and recovery has been damaged drastically in such a short time of being with this company. Don't have your empathy taken advantage of.
