Pros

Great work, good cause. Proud to be a part of the agency.

Cons

Unable to continue due to doge, which seemed unfair. Not based on merit or worth but a number to be eliminated.

Pros

Get to meet a lot of wonderful people. Tests your willpower and resolve. Lots of opportunity. Lots of personal growth.

Cons

The people in charge are very incompetent. You have to take your safety and security into your own hands, you cannot rely on those paid via your taxes to make sure you are safe to do their jobs. Medical staff are lazy and won't take your injuries or illness seriously. You have to advocate for your own health. The pay is minimal and the benefits only happen if you stay most of your service. If you get seriously injured they dump you on an airplane while you're still injured without benefits. After service medical care is subpar and requires specific steps that costs taxpayers more.
