Pros

Being able to work from home is a plus Company has a good look from outside( good sellable profile but inside is not the most conducive)

Cons

I am not the person to always give excuses for actions which is why I always take responsibilities to things I didn’t even do because the goal is to always get something resolved rather than putting blames. I would’ve still been blaming myself for every hiccups until I started hearing from other co workers. This company is an unstructured big company that only cares about how things look on the outside. Most people that end up leaving this company at least my team mostly leave with the complains about medical reasons. Un realistic Expectations are set so high that triggers stress and have people end up at the hospital. I’ve had co workers tell me but I didn’t take it seriously until it happened to me multiple times for me to believe. I was diagnosed with something recently that is literally making a lot of changes in my eyes but took a while to accept the changes but yet I kept on being discriminated continually for the symptoms it causes. Imagine having to go through life changing events and having being discriminated at a place that claims to have a company culture. When I finally accepted some symptoms I was having, I reached out to the companies hr on ways to walk around the symptoms because I complained to my doctor about this but it was a situation of this is your health an this are the symptoms, there is nothing they could do. Out of courtesy, hr was just following the ADA steps to meet up but basically said they could not do anything and I could take off or quit if needed in a nice way. Nothing was basically discussed in the meeting but yet I received a follow up email like we came up with a plan. That was when I really really realized I was being played just for them to be in compliance. I was so confused. I wish I had listened to previous co workers complains about their health before they left. If you talk about something, other things are being documented just to make them look good and I’ve seen this has an habit. It is impossible to take off as well because when you come back you are expected to meet the expectations but yet work on what you were meant to do when you were away. So technically for me, I am a lost cause right now for with this thing I am current battling.

Pros

Great benefits; 90% of the ppl that worked there were the best and really did great work.

Cons

Made employees choose between having MLK Day off or Juneteenth- both which are federally recognized holidays. Excuse was that our customers are open on those days so we need to be open. So as a company, we had to pick which would be a paid holiday and everyone chose Juneteenth because it was in the summer. I think we got a floating holiday to use for any other holiday we wanted off that wasn’t recognized by the company. As you can imagine, this racism was prevalent in management/leadership. My team was the most diverse team and we all got restructured/laid off. There’s a lot of ego and control issues in this company, especially in Talent Acquisition.
