Pros
-Catered lunch on Friday -Dedicated, kind peers -Low-cost health insurance -The list of plans who use Payer Matrix's program so you know who never to work for
Cons
-NO work life balance -unattainable expectations -ineffective, bullying management -absentee leadership When a company says they're "like a family" in the interview, it's because they're going to gaslight and abuse you like family would. This company is pure evil. I am ashamed to have worked for such a soulless operation. Everything they do from the way they treat employees to their convoluted, unethical process is wrong. Every action they take is entirely self-interested and in pursuit of their own financial gain. They change strategy on a whim and execute sporadically, then blame employees when these short-sighted efforts fail. There is no room for growth unless you're part of the inner circle. You have to beg for $2-3 more an hour every year while new hires come in at higher rates than you. There is rampant disrespect and mistreatment from management. The entire time I worked here, the owner NEVER ONCE gathered and addressed the staff to acknowledge their hard work or thank them for lining his pockets. Ultimately, the way Payer Matrix operates puts profits over everything. Any benefit to patients who may receive medication at little or no cost is on the fringes of their own financial motivations. So many talented and devoted employees have left in the last year. It simply is not worth the detriments to your health and well-being to work for this terrible company.
