Project Manager - Senior Project Manager Pavilion Construction Employee Review

Pros

There really isn't any to speak of. The people in accounting and HR are nice and it seems like there is a disconnect between them and operations.

Cons

Upper mgmt. how can a Portland based company go 3 years without capturing a project in its own back yard? A very bad reputation within the subcontractor community is the answer. Pavilion has now tried to penetrate the Seattle market and is losing millions in the process. Poor estimating, non-existent preconstruction, horrible senior level management, and an executive team that is oblivious to all of this.

Pavilion Construction Response

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we take all responses into consideration. We are sad to hear that you did not enjoy your time working with Pavilion. Our upper-level management is fueled by their decades of experience in the business, including our COO, who has twenty years in the industry and has built many relationships with subcontractors over the years. Pavilion is licensed in over ten states with a lot of ground to cover, so to combat this, the upper management builds the company with experienced industry-leading professionals to carry out the Pavilion name and build business with our many relationships with subcontractors and establish new ones in the process. We only hire the most experienced professionals to represent our name and it speaks for itself in our successful project deliveries in multiple states. We apologize that you did not have a good work experience with us, as many of our employees do. Thank you for writing the review, as it is valuable moving forward.

Pros

Nice PTO, Decent Pay, Little Micromanagement

Cons

Upper management delegates almost all work to lower employees and then expect them to keep track of everything and blame them if things go awry. Also no remote work.
