Pros

Champagne at monthly staff meetings... but you have to pretend to believe the absolute lies management tells about how much they value you as an employee or even as a human being. I heard they pay for parking for upper management and the sales team. You know, the ones they pay enough to be able to afford $100/mo. But not the ones who do all the actual work.

Cons

1. Inept management starts at the top and trickles down. The owner/president/ceo uses bullying, intimidation, and gaslighting to keep her people "in line." So do the majority of her Upper Management Team. 2. There is no HR department. There are no HR professionals. There's a guy with a background in accounting who's supposed to handle these issues. It's not really his forte. At all. 3. Benefits are not particularly good. 4. If you happen to smoke, be prepared to be lectured and scolded. If you happen to be overweight, prepare to have your weight (and menu choices at company outings) scrutinized. If you happen to be drunk at work, it's all good. 'Cause that's super healthy. 5. It is impossible for employees to get caught up, because while the budget allows for on-the-job drinking, swanky parties, and parking for everyone who can already afford it, it doesn't allow for actually hiring enough people to handle the workload.
