Pros
Pathful was built on the shoulders of two wildly successful organizations both of which were truly mission-driven and lead by strong, empathetic founders. Where the strands and values of those cultures remain are likely the only "pros" of the company as it is today.
Cons
Everything the CEO learned about her job, she learned from being a 5th grade math teacher. This is part of her "elevator speech." Unfortunately, in both external and internal situations, she prides herself on selling her story and her own personal goals. She is very confident in her knowledge of all things and don't you dare question that. Any member of the staff can tell you her career goals but can she articulate the career aspiration of any person within the organization? No. In fact, she doesn't care. She has made it a habit of multiple rounds of layoffs only to hire people from her personal network. Variable compensation was never paid out. There is a culture of fear driven by her passive-aggressive nature. Unless you're looking to be a "yes man" or operate as a robot, I encourage you to seek employment elsewhere.
