Pros

Flexibility, above-average pay for the market.

Cons

Company has two partners, one of them more involved than the other, to the detriment of the organization. It feels impossible to talk to this person without receiving "let's see what AI thinks" as the final response. It is mindblowing that an entire company is being run at the whim of someone utterly unable to think, write or communicate by themselves. Will spend hours on AI to then say they have no time available, that what you're bringing up is time-wasting, that they're not going to engage further, disrespect and diminish you while being so passive-aggressive and condescending towards the other owner. Never in my life have I seen so many talented people scrambling and their skills going to waste, junior associates (most of them latinamerican and remote, being paid pennies for what they do) holding on for dear life and trying to satisfy this person's directives. Truly felt like working with an adult throwing tantrums. And this is the owner! Whoever remains there: best of luck and hope something better comes your way.

Pros

Flexible working schedule. That’s about it.

Cons

Run, don’t walk from this company. The pay may be good, but the way the owners manage the business is beyond frustrating. They rely on ChatGPT to make nearly every decision instead of valuing actual industry experience and critical thinking. Ideas get pushed through without proper strategy or consideration because “ChatGPT said it was a good idea.” Technology can be a tool, but it should never replace leadership, experience, and common sense. Unfortunately, this has been by far the worst company I’ve ever worked for.
