Pros
First and foremost it goes without saying that Patsnap provides a truly outstanding product that has a positive impact on the work of its target prospects (the IP and R&D Professional). Starting out in sales post graduation, it feels essential to be selling a product and a vision that you can personally buy into, with Patsnap definitely ticking the box in this respect.
Above all else it is the people that make Patsnap such a cool place to work. Whilst there have been some transitions in the office which have had a bit of an impact on general team culture, you will always find yourself surrounded by a friendly and supportive team. Special praise should go to the managers, especially in the Life Science team. Whilst there was some transition in terms of personnel at the start of my Patsnap career, I cannot find enough positives to describe the current pairing. Both are super engaged with the business, friendly, approachable, provide great advice and are willing to put time and effort into helping you improve.
Going off the back of some other reviews on this site, it appears that, in prior years, Patsnap's great Achilles heel has been the churn rate among the leadership ranks. But having witnessed the transition over the last few months, I believe that things look extremely positive for the future.
Cons
I would definitely say that Patsnap's office culture took a bit of a hit in the five months I was there. But I would equally note that a concerted effort to rebuild it is clearly underway.
