Pros

Like many people feeling stuck in their careers I was determined to go on a journey to find a workplace that aligned with my personal and professional values, as well as inspired me to do greater things in this world. I am so thrilled to say I found that within Parisleaf. Some of my favorite moments here at Parisleaf have been watching the incredible growth of the company, my coworkers and of myself. They give space and breath for professional development and truly care about your future, constantly encouraging us to be bold and focus on making positive impacts. The fine folks at Parisleaf are truly partners in every sense of the word, not only to their clients but to their employees. Something I have always said throughout my career is to do good work for good people. Not only do the most talented, welcoming and vibrant people call this company home but we do GREAT work for incredible clients. Getting to work with amazing non-profits and within the capital campaign space as a creative is a dream. I finally feel like I'm where I'm supposed to be, putting in the work that really matters and making a difference!

Cons

It's your responsibility to make your time here matter. They have high expectations for you just like I have high expectations for them. If you care about the non-profit space then this company is for you, but just like with anything that comes with hard work. But trust me, it's hard work worth doing for good people. Big changes are coming for Parisleaf and I'm happy to be along for the ride.

Pros

Parisleaf has an incredible culture. Although they're a remote agency, I developed meaningful relationships with all my coworkers and felt like leadership genuinely cared about my success and well-being as a person. My direct manager regularly checked in on me and helped me gain confidence in my craft. Parisleaf really give you the chance to shine and step up–without putting too much pressure on you. The work-life balance is really fair and they truly encourage you to unplug after hours. And getting to work with so many great nonprofits and vital causes was so rewarding. I felt excited to come to work every day knowing I was working with organizations and people making a positive difference in the world. I miss working with this team! Some of the kindest, funniest people I've ever worked with. So grateful for the connections I made during my time here.

Cons

There is some travel involved with working at Parisleaf, but this is an essential part of the process. It helped me form strong connections with our clients and get immersed in their world, as well as spending quality time with our team. So, although the trips could be tiring, they were always worth it to me.

Pros

Parisleaf is like a family - the family of brilliant, kind, funny, creative people you never had. Working here was a dream come true, and I'm still close friends with all of my co-workers. It's a very self-motivated, stimulating, free environment, and the office culture is warm and open.

Cons

It's hard to come up with cons. Really, the cons are just the downsides of the pros (since everything with an upside has a downside). The up-and-coming small-business thing means that you don't get the perks (benefits, super-high salaries) of working at a larger firm. Of course, we all know that working at larger firms often means less freedom and more oversight. Also, the closeness of the staff relationships means that if you're a poor communicator and don't know how to resolve interpersonal issues with grace and authenticity, you probably won't last long here.

Thank you for this review! We will miss you dearly. Our door is always open. Worth noting: now that we're not an up-and-coming studio, we offer full bennies and then some (and have for some time). Thanks for taking the time to offer the world your lovely insights about us. :)
