Pros
Important work on a big government contract
Cons
Everything else. It was only until I took my second real job out of college recently that I realize just how bad this company was. Paradyme Management in Greenbelt was my first real job out of college, so it was all I knew. Now, being in a healthy environment at my current workplace -- Paradyme Management Inc. was almost the complete polar opposite of where I happily am now. In retrospect, this company is absolutely terrible. Yes, it is legitimate work with legitimate impact on a REAL government contract. THAT IS ALL. After working for another company in Washington, DC -- I now realize that Paradyme Management doesn't have the slightest idea of how to actually run a company. A company is more than just the work. It is about creating a culture and environment for their employees to operate at the highest level because they enjoy what they are doing and who they are working for. Don't expect to feel appreciated here for anything you do. Don't expect to be able to have real relationships with anyone in the workplace or any supervisor. Don't expect to be able to walk in to this building and enjoy your surroundings. Don't expect to be able to feel like you are heard. Don't expect to have any fun either. None of this is on the employees, there are obviously some jolly individuals anywhere you go in the world. Management just does absolutely nothing to promote a healthy environment; they are blind to that aspect of running an organization. Some people just know how to run a company better than others, it takes a lot more than securing a government contract to really be a great company. Please consider working elsewhere before you sign up for a job here; heed my review. These are not people you will feel comfortable working under -- your diligence will become nonexistent and work will become more bleak/depressing than ever.
