Pros

I would describe Paradox as a scale up saas company. You get all the pros on the high-growth journey but have comfort that the company is established and has a maturity to understand what it is doing and the direction it is taking. The London office is growing, with most client-facing functions now represented here. The pace of growth and the relative newness of the office means you really have chance to shape and craft your role and wider contribution to the company

Cons

Like all scale up / early-stage companies, Paradox hasn't figured it all out yet. Sometimes that can be a challenge, others times it is an opportunity to input and grow yourself.

Pros

The interview scheduling module and the initial candidate experience is really what hooked me. I thought "I want to work on tech like this." The individual contributors on my team and within client success were great to work with and the pay was good.

Cons

Lack of structure or consistent process across the organization. Cross-functional team cooperation and partnership were mostly poor or non-existent. I did not feel I had the tools or knowledge I needed to do my job efficiently or to the standard with which I'd been accustomed to at larger software companies. Severe lack of product documentation and what was documented was frequently out of date or you had to hunt through 13 Slack channels to find an answer. Maybe this is typical for a start up but what's sad is that it didn't have to be this way.
