Cons
Corporate policies are sometimes angering. Every night, we would donate leftover breads and pastries to local organizations. If the donation carrier didn't arrive, we would throw things out. Corporate had a policy where we could not take any leftovers home, which I found silly. It was being thrown out anyway. Also, we were expected to try every menu item, but were supposed to pay for it ourselves. Panera is an expensive food place, and I did not want to spend all my money there. I worked there for 2 years, training all new employees and managers often. Even after requesting a raise (from 7.25 to 7.50), I was not given it. I did the work of a trainer but did not earn the pay of one. That's the primary reason that I quit.
