Pros
My colleagues - professional and proud to work for Panasonic. The company offers a competitive salary and nice benefits package. I enjoyed working there for many years but the move to Newark made it too difficult for me to stay with the company because of the commute. I had several great managers but my last one was disengaged. I was disheartened to learn about recent layoffs in the consumer group. Lots of good people lost. I hope the company is on a successful path and remains competitive.
Cons
Management could be a bit of a club although my dept. head treated his people well. Difficult to advance in a career. People stayed there because it was a great company; now I think people stay due to the poor job market.
