Pros

You get paid a livable wage. Benefits say premium but are average. They luck out with this company because semiconductor is in high demand due to Taiwan being “not invaded”

Cons

Safety- It’s BAD. From people almost being killed because of the process to back injury’s there is no shortage. 20 kilo boxes on the floor that you have to pick up. Real smart company. Pay - Not enough for what you’re doing (sometimes literally working 2 jobs simultaneously) but just enough to keep you here Training- This has to be the worst training Id ever received from a company. You would be trained on equipment (all custom to some extent mind you) with extremely unclear/un updated work instructions. Sometimes the work instructions are just wrong. Brought that up months ago and it was fixed a week ago give or take. People- Everyone will tell you that they love their jobs here (at least that’s what management hears) but nobody is happy. The general consensus is “here for the check”for 99% of people I’ve met and talked to. Not to mention certain people in this place are power hungry and looking to expand their careers by cutting your throat. Don’t trust anyone. Management- Expectations are pretty much to the roof for us. If something bad happens and we have to call an engineer or management for help we usually wake them up since there’s no facilities at night. Many times I’ve been disrespected because I had to call someone on their day off. We wanted to be 24 hours, but not everyone is 24 hours if you understand. Not to mention they will stalk you on the cameras to make sure you’re slaving away and if you aren’t deemed “hardworking” enough (even if there’s nothing to do) expect a fresh email the next day.

Pros

Pallidus is a start up company that recently had to restructure and let some people go. I fortunately was not one of those people, but I was nervous about my future. I looked and had an opportunity to take another job. I reluctantly turned it down. Nobody wants to lose their job. I am so happy I turned it down. A few bad apples quit or were terminated before they restructured. Others were let go due to the restructuring along with some of the poor management. The newly promoted or transferred leadership cares and are making changes. They’re out working with us daily. Not sure about some of the complaints I have read on here. These bad reviews do not represent all of Pallidus. I have never felt unsafe here. I also have never felt like I can’t express my concerns with management, safety or HR. I can say that I think the bad reviews on here are from former employees who were terminated (good riddance) or let go and current employees unhappy with the fact that the old managers who let them watch their phones all day are gone, and now they are going to have to put in an honest days work. Is Pallidus perfect? Nope. It’s a start up company trying to make it. We now have a solid core of mostly good people and the sky is the limit. Wish the folks who feel the need to bash this place would just leave or better yet, put some of the effort they use to complain into helping us achieve our goals.

Cons

Pizza at the all hands meetings is getting old. Not really that good either.

Days off balanced the hours worked
