Sales reps and fellow employees were kind and friendly people.

Cons

The environment was one of fear and uneasiness caused mostly by upper management. Leadership was full of immature, irresponsible, & close-minded micro-managers who didn't like anyone's ideas unless they were theirs. Many times, upper management would shoot down a good idea, only to suggest it later and claim it as their own. Upper management created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity by secretly posting my job on online job boards without alerting me or telling me why. The company's refusal to change and unhealthy management made it impossible for me to want to stay. When I put in my two weeks notice, they told me to get out and made it seem as though I was a terrible employee for wanting to leave. Furthermore, their HR department would always takes the sides of management in all matters and made it feel as though I were being attacked which added to the atmosphere of stress and fear.

Pros

Used to be a great place to work. I miss Jim Palko.

Cons

This was a great job before they got yet another friend to take over management and turn it into a micromanaging fiasco. Blaming low sales on not enough calls being made, because they can't take a look at the economy and the fact that the out of stocks are what are making their sales suffer. They have sucked the motivation and life out of every self-starting, good employee that has come through there. The new owners are a couple of nepo babies who live in a delusional la la land and have no idea how the real world works.
