It's okay depending on site - Security Guard Paladin Security Group Employee Review

Pros

If you get placed at a site like a hospital or mall the like the teams there are knowledgeable and will assist you in receiving amazing on the job training. Paladin will provide you with all your clothing; although it may be large you will have the opportunity to exchange it for clothes that fit. Most all site supervisors are amazing and will assist you in learning and expanding your abilities.

Cons

Other sites like office towers realistically don't count as actual security experience mostly because you will be walking all day and mainly be dealing with contractors and B.S. requests from tenants. Paladin's sites that don't require all that much equipment like office towers provide ALL the equipment you would need (Handcuffs, inner and outer belt, disposable gloves pouch; also receive a stab-vest on time) but sites which require them like hospitals, you will provide most of it yourself + the vest can take time to receive. It took me 2 months to exchange clothing that did not fit; although I still don't have a hat or jacket. People who are not deserving of managerial level positions are given them through B.S. politics. Paladin will hire them based on their opinions and not what is best for the site; although I have seen this corrected at some sites. Paladin OPS can't count or do their jobs most of the time. Other companies like PARAGON make it a priority to get supervisors and site-trained staff on site but Paladin has serious issues here; I've worked 4-man + Dispatch sites with only 3 guards (no dispatch), let alone just 2 guards on site. I've also worked for prolonged periods of time without a supervisor actually being on site (weeks). You are not allowed to do OPS job for them by getting a casual guard to cover your shift at certain sites; I've done this at some sites like hospitals and malls but at office towers OPS throws a hissy-fit and eventually allows you to do their job for them. Payed horribly at high-stress sites but payed well at 'auto-pilot' officer towers sites. 12 Hour shifts go longer because at officer towers relief does not arrive on time most of the time.

Pros

Decent pay, hours, and benefits for full time employees

Cons

They hold onto crappy employees, they'll lie straight to your face and manipulate you and the clients they have contracts with, communication is subpar.
