Pros
The pay and benefits are excellent, the vast majority of people here are great to work with, the business is making huge amounts of money and is growing well, the Hammersmith office is a nice place to work.
Cons
There is a deeply engrained culture of never planning ahead and leaving everything to the last minute, everything is always rushed and this causes high stress and a low quality of work across the business. Management do not act on advice given (repeatedly) to them and there is no accountability. The staff attrition rate in Betfair is breathtaking, the vast majority of those I have worked with haven't lasted longer than 18 months. HR used to review this once a year, they have now had to step this up to four times a year because of the sheer amount of people leaving, this should speak volumes to anyone considering becoming an employee.
