Pros
Work/life balance was nice. I'll have to get back to you on the rest.
Cons
I was a part of The Underwear Group team, aka TUG, that PVH sold off in 2023. I started the job bright-eyed and bushy-tailed but soon discovered that TUG was like an ugly stepsister who was neither seen nor heard. In quarterly earnings calls, TUG was never mentioned—only Tommy and Calvin were, which at first I found unnerving, and then realized was the norm. Working for brands that feel like a complete afterthought—I can't say I recommend it. What's the point, if the owners of PVH themselves aren't invested? I understand there are financial reasons behind these decisions, but real lives were impacted. I should've seen the writing on the wall, and regret that I didn't sooner. Btw, the Midtown office is bleak and uninspiring. It looks like a call center, all white and pale gray. I worked under fluorescent lighting with not a window in sight. I wish I could get that precious time back.
