Pros
1. Smaller teams. 2. Flexibility in office timings, switching different teams. 3. If you have the potential you could even switch roles, I have seen support engineers being a software engineer. 4. state-of-art technology.
Cons
1. In SLM domain (I was part of), development work is not much, but in other new ventures like IOT you will get to work on newer things.
