Although it is veiled as training, you will undoubtedly receive this throughout your employment.   Lack of career progression. Generally speaking, the only way up is in dead men's shoes. Management will hire externally first. The salary is meager. Only increased by inflation or development plans.  These development plans are only minor increases, with employees often having to fight to obtain sign off.  Numerous employees have left as a direct result of the service desk management team's persistent, passive-aggressive, indirect bullying and nepotism, which has gone on uninterrupted for years despite the many complaints.
