Pros

They have multiple law firm clients that need temporary law librarian placement. Depending on the library need it could be entry into a full time placement.

Cons

The hourly rate is based on what firms will pay. Temporary assignments do not have the same hourly rate as a full time employee. So you make less. That's on the client's part and not Pro Libra's. Pro Libra has to put a fee on top of the hourly rate to make their profits.

Pros

Great team, great channel of communication, flexibility

Cons

I can't think of any major cons - hours can vary weekly because it depends on your assignment.

Pros

Library outsourcing is becoming more trendy. This company is well known. I've so far worked at two law firm clients. One was full-time for over a year. The current is part-time. But working part-time fits into my current schedule. So I like the fact that I have the flexibility of working on my own schedule.

Cons

No benefits. Have to pay for your on health insurance. And of course there is no paid vacation or sick day benefits because this is temporary work. Hourly salary is only ok because it depends on the client contract.
