Pros

Free gym membership although it is restricted

Cons

If you decide to work in the spa of this club you are some of the least paid individuals in the entire club dealing with the absolute worst clients. They do not pay you enough for the amount of times you get screamed at over the phone and at the front desk. There is little to no management support when customers verbally abuse workers. Also you are never able to take vacation time that you earn, and will never get more than a few cents on a raise even after working here for years. Spa management is also very problematic and does not listen to their own employees and disregards concerns brought to their attention then wonders why turnover is so high.

Thank you for your three years of employment at The Spa and Salon at PRO Club and for your candid feedback. The Spa Front Desk compensation is equal to that of the Front Desk and PRO Shop at PRO Club. It is also equal to the compensation provided at other salons and spas in Bellevue. Our HR department conducts regular appraisals of industry compensation so that we remain fair and competitive. The hourly wage is supplemented by the Spa service charge, which provides an hourly wage guarantee. We do conduct annual performance appraisals and compensation increases are based on a variety of factors including initiative and acquired job skills. Vacation time is approved if the time is available and does not provide a disruption to our business operations, which may be multiple vacations at the same time or the busy holiday seasons. Additional benefits for full-time employees include two health club memberships, paid medical insurance, 401k reimbursement, service discounts (Pro Shop, Spa, Salon, Auto Salon, Personal Training), free Group Fitness classes), free onsite physician, free or co-pay only medical services (dermatology, podiatry, counseling, physical therapy) and paid time off. These additional benefits add to the total compensation package. As you stated, the health club is a positive benefit and yes, it is and has been restricted due to Governor's orders for limited capacity. Due to limited capacities, usage of the club has been reserved for members of the club. As far as the clients, we're sorry if you were unfairly treated and felt that you didn't receive the support you needed in challenging situations. Our HR department and Senior Directors are also available if employees have additional concerns or seek support. We have passed your review to spa management. We also offer employees the opportunity to provide feedback during their exit interview. If you would like your comments personally addressed, we'd be happy to put you in touch with our HR Director.

Pros

Friendly staff, supportive day-to-day culture, and big events that are legitimately impressive and enjoyable.

Cons

Small teams carrying a massive workload. Payroll issues happened more than they should. Uniforms weren’t my favorite.
