Pros

Employees may learn and pick up technical skills needed to enter another profession.

Cons

The hiring process was extensive and, at times, repetitive. Candidates may be asked to participate in multiple rounds of in-person interviews lasting over two hours, often meeting with most of the 20-person team and fielding the same questions multiple times. For those without prior experience, they may require additional shadowing sessions lasting half or even full days. After investing 8–10 hours into interviews and shadowing, candidates are then asked to come back in person to review the offer letter. At this stage, some candidates felt pressured to make an immediate decision without adequate time to review the offer or understand the full scope of the benefits package. Compensation and commission structures were presented in a way that lacked clarity, and the explanation process could feel overwhelming or confusing. Questions about the documents signed (such as non-competes) were not always followed up with copies upon request. During employment, resources can be limited. For example, access to recruiting platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter is not consistently provided and may require sharing accounts or even using personal credit cards to access trials. The office space is small, outdated, and not well-equipped for a fully in-person team, leading some employees to take Zoom calls in hallways or abandoned offices. Despite the required in-office schedule, there is limited encouragement for collaboration or team interaction, and a focus is placed on minimizing non-work-related conversation. The company enforces a strict 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM schedule with limited flexibility. Employees are expected to use their own equipment in many cases, with little to no reimbursement. Benefits are minimal, with no 401(k) offered until after nine months of employment and no employer match. Turnover appears to be high for a company of this size, with a notable number of employees leaving or being let go over the past year. While a few high-performing recruiters may find success, the combination of limited tools, high expectations, and rigid office policies makes it a challenging environment for many.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We understand that our high standards are not ideal for everyone. At PRISM we strive for excellence for our teams and customers. Our hybrid work environment allows our employees to work remote either full time or partially depending on their tenure, performance and business needs. This is disclosed early in the hiring process. We hold the multi- step interview process that moves quickly to try and ensure the right fit for both parties. We respect our applicants and want to help them make an informed decision by learning about our business and culture up front. Retention is a priority for us and our key performers agree that this process helped them find a long term home with PRISM versus just a job. PRISM evaluates our tools, usage and production data quarterly to ensure that we provide our team with both the right and ample resources to achieve success. We wish you well in your next venture and hope you find your ideal home for success.

Pros

As a Senior member of the PRISM team for 20 years it saddens me to see any negative reviews about PRISM. I respect and love PRISM for holding their employees accountable to our core values and principals. They provide all the tools and encouragement for success! Leadership truly cares about the team and understands the importance of each contributor thus why they have a quality interview process. PRISM promotes dedication, results and lots of fun! Management is patient and supportive of learning, goals and growth. Turnover at PRISM is not because of the PRISM environment but because of the challenges the industry holds. We do require folks who like to work and can also produce results, we are committed to our clients. PRISM cares about each employee and they protect the health and success of the team that will allow for continued company growth. Many of my co-workers have been with PRISM for 15 years or more. We care! True, the building is older so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles but the location is fantastic with easy access to lunch spots, stores and a walking trail. No trouble parking either. Our people make up our PRISM family not the building.

Cons

Requires hard work and dedication.

Pros

I had a few co workers I got along with.

Cons

Where to start, the building they are located in and require you to come onsite for 5 days is a pig stye. Before I left there were multiple occasions where a homeless person had broken in and was sleeping in the building during working hours, did management alert the staff and tell them to go home for their safety? No, they said nothing and continued the day as normal. With the money they save on rent you would assume they could spend some on tools for their recruiting and sales teams, but they share sourcing platforms between the entire team and only one person can use them at a time. The computers they provide you are from 2008 and you'll spend a good portion of your day waiting for pages to load. With them being such a small business you would think that they would involve the team on more important meetings and decisions but unless you're an executive you're left out of almost all decisions and are not told anything about them until they are enacted. With the million other staffing companies in the country you should exhaust every option before working here.

We appreciate your review and are glad you enjoyed getting along with a few of your co-workers. It seems like an IT staffing company was what you were looking for versus PRISM. Our interview process is on site so applicants can decide if the location and amenities fit their needs. The building does have a secured entry system and security will inform our team if needed. Best wishes with your future endeavors.
