Nice co-workers, I use to enjoy working here but every shift becomes so mentally and physically draining.

Cons

POPMART has grown significantly due to its viral products however the support for its workers has decreased significantly. There are so many workers being pushed to their limits and POPMART makes it feel that everyone is easily replaceable. I'm mentally and physically exhausted each shift I have where I need to deal with customers who want a labubu but we do not have stock. However, due to company policy we are unable to inform when the next restock is which is fine. But the company does not enforce that these are the rules set by the company and expect employees to be in the frontline of people's anger and frustration. I've also been recognised outside of work without my uniform where customers will harass me to ask about any new releases or restocks of popular items. The lack of support for the workers, when we are not allowed to mention when products are being restocked or whether we will have more stock. It is frustrating as we have a lot of customers harassing us and being aggressive as we are not providing the information they want. The company lacks to help/support the workers regarding restock information and expects us to keep repeating to customers that we are unsure of when the next restock will be. Sometimes I don't understand why the company asks for feedback as they do not listen at all and is ignored. To me there is no point in asking for feedback if there are no improvements for the workers in the retail shops. Management is also bias and cliquey. It's either you're in or out and too many times they have swept issues/problems or tasks under the carpet. The way we are treated and there are little to none benefits. A lot of customers think we receive discounts or exclusive items but in reality we receive a monthly blind box (we can't even pick what series it is). Bonuses are non existent and are not clearly explained on how to receive it. If the company has purchased insurance for any damages or theft it should not be deducted from the bonus.
