Pros
Some of the people who work there are amazing, really adore some of them for sure. Customers are super nice and it's interesting to interact with them and talk. The pay is good enough, it's a job.
Cons
- Some others will isolate you if you're new and makes it hard to rely on them. - Makes a part-time job feel like full-time job. - The Inventory checks are excessive, especially when upper management never actually uses them to send you what you need. - Management is super messy and not at all organized. - There are no benefits at all, no employee discount no nothing. There's even a 24 hour no buy rule on new releases, and no holds at all. Employees are paying full price but they can't even buy anything if it's too new...which defeats the purpose. - Ignores my work life balance completely and they expect you to have full availability for all days and cater to their need. They do have schedules pushed out early, but that is nothing if they schedule you for times you can't actually work for due to transportation. - Super unprofessional and no respect. As someone who's also worked in other Asian based companies, it doesn't look like they've adapted to the US workforce structures at all and just takes advantage of you if you don't know any better. - The manager is really nice, but nice doesn't mean good.
