Pros

Absolutely none unless you are fat, stupid, and lazy.

Cons

Extremely lazy, inexperienced, and unreliable staff. I only worked there for a week and a half and it was absolutely insane. Residents eat whatever and whenever they want. Staff let's them play video games instead of giving them structure in their day. Children would be violent with me for giving them structure in their day. Many staff would side with the children because they don't actually want to do work. These children have serious mental health issues and they staff just dosnt have the guts for a BRS program.

Pros

New leadership cares. They listen and have employed great people not just bodies. They come in and work with the kids and back up the floor staff. They answer texts and calls also.

Cons

Being paid once a month, but you get used to it.

Pros

rewarding with being apart of there success story when the youth grow and are able to become independent. I liked mentoring them a lot. Some staff and upper management have the right vision and motivation for the kids and working with them, you can learn a lot in the field.

Cons

Most of the upper management it feels like they are taking as much money as they can. They will underpay staff when they are the ones who are there when the dirty or hard work happens...such as a youth runs away, violent conflicts between peers and lets not forget when one of them decides to knock out an employee unconscious. They are not there for that and do not see it as much as staff who are there all day, or working swing when the youth are home the most. It is a very emotionally draining job, and it feels like they do not compensate well for that and the added risk staff takes when they come into work. And one more thing, they choose to pay monthly......although it may save money for them, I found working there that , that is the reason why most employees leave and its understandable.
