Pros
They offer flexible work schedules but it depends on the department you work in as to whether you will be able to take advantage of this, some managers are more traditional and not as willing to allow their employees to work a flexible schedule even though it would not negatively affect their work. Taking time off is not a problem if requested in advance but this also depends on the department you work in and how cooperative your manger is. This is a large company so everything will vary from department to department and manger to manger. Benefits are okay.
Cons
As with most companies the office politics can be annoying. Promotions aren't always based on your job performance, who you know can have a big impact on promotions. Managers tend to promise promotions and then never follow through. I have been in several departments and this has happened multiple times. It could just be me but it seems to happen to others I have spoken with. Additionally, they send mixed messages regarding the company's performance. We often hear how good the company is doing but then they will cut back perks that they previously offered, leaving employees confused and frustrated.
