PlanIT was a subcontractor for another company. The other company decided not to renew the contract with PlanIT and absorb the jobs from PlanIT. According to PlanIT we all resigned and they refused to pay out any accumulated PTO time. Employees weren't given any advance notice to enable them to use up their PTO time prior to the switch over. In addition the employee that most people were given upon hiring said that PTO was be paid out but the handbook got changed during employment without supplying employees with an updated handbook. The original contracting company supplied PlanIT with money for annual cost of living increases for the employees doing work for the original company but PlanIT just pocketed the money and didn't use it for the employees as intended. They don't do any 401K match either.
