Pros
Great pay, work with highly intelligent and motivated people, ability to contribute to meaningful projects, relatively smaller workforce compared to peers which means better ability to contribute across multiple areas of the firm instead of being pigeon-holed into one area.
Cons
Face time was an important aspect, tended toward long hours for many people. The larger the company became, the more "corporate" it felt. Satisfaction depended a lot on what team you were a part of, which could be hit or miss depending on manager.
