The onus is on you to get your projects and see them through to the end. Younger consultants are expected to contribute as much to projects as older consultants, if not more. You're exposed to some of the best minds in the field. Senior management is very communicative and supportive. Particularly a good company when you are young and want to get as much responsibility and experience as soon as possible.
Cons
There are few opportunities to branch out of the work area you joined. Sometimes business trips can be on the order of 2-3 months at a time without coming home, which can be tiring. Salary is just average. Churn in personnel probably above average.
