Senior management dont understand software development

From where to start. 1: Leader has no clue what should be done . Always blame management for not informing anything.Why to lead then????One fine day call everyone and say 4- 5 people will be fired. ask why,no answer. Funding is always excuse for everything 2--when team members tell him about new technology or new process to be used .He will say management people don't understand technology, so why to waste time in good quality.Work is boring.he made life difficult of one team member so much that he left without asking for salary 3- good people left company or asked to leave,leader is spineless and only interested in offending jokes.he tell team members don't mess with me or I will not take you with me in next company.who wants to work with you.stop using your own team. Making us work for 7 days in so less salary company is selfish.make software to impress investors and not students.

Pros

Founders had a vision for the company and are very driven to achieve their goals, thus I felt motivated to do my best for them. I received constant guidance from them and was engaged in frequent & meaningful communications with them. The company's motto for hiring interns is to ensure that their interns gain as much exposure and experiences as possible (basically gain the most out from this internship). I was given the flexibility in work timings and most importantly, the trust in decision-making processes. My bosses advocated to step out my comfort zone so as to maximise learning experience, and I did exactly that which definitely resulted in positive personal development for myself. In addition, my bosses were strong advocates of camaraderie and team spirit, hence I was able to build strong relationship with my fellow interns of diverse background and ethnicity. After I completed the internship, my bosses made an effort to reconnect with me from time to time to catch up with me and I really appreciate these warm gestures by my founders. In essence, this is absolutely a great place to work in! Would 200% recommend this to my friends.

Cons

Everything about this company is so great! To give a con, it would probably be a lack of structure, but then again it is a start-up so that's a given. Anyone who wants to work in a start-up got to be prepared to work in an environment that is less-structured.

Pros

10 months with Oxfordcaps for me were amazing! I have never had a prior real working experience before and Oxfordcaps was my very first stop. During that time, I have gained so many things. My boss and my colleagues were so nice to me. They treated me well and always gave me a chance to improve and enhance my abilities. From a non-experienced one, I have step-by-step grown up. I met various clients and agents, gained my knowledge in Singapore real estate and prepared numerous documents for the company. Strongly recommend this company for people interested in working for startups.

Cons

You need to work well under pressure. When it comes to peak time, there are so many tasks needed to be done and you must be ready for that situation. Additionally, working flexibly is also one of the main concerns. You can wake up late and come to work late, but sometimes, you are required to stay overtime or come to work on weekends. That's all! Otherwise, everything is really good.
