Got hired back in February and had to pass the NMLS test in order to get started. I did so, which was very stressful. The first month of onboarding was nice, there were presentations and tranings to help get up to speed, but then April hit and everything went downhill.
There was minimal communication from management about what the next steps to getting on the phones were and it just seemed like any and all plans that were in place were thrown to the wayside. I understand business's needs change with the market, but it seems like the headcount projections were botched.
Got laid off under three months after I started. Its tech, its business, it happens, but its still a terrible look for OwnUp and I can't honestly say I have great things to say about them if the company gets brought up in conversation. Just a bad taste in my mouth. I can imagine the morale of existing Home Advisors is shot after this.
