No one in this company is exempt from taking phone calls - even the Corporate Controller will fill in when needed. Regarding the CEO's travels: As anyone who is hired here knows, we are a company with a global reach. That requires that the CEO give face time to *all* subsidiaries, not just the ones in Las Vegas. For that reason, we try to hire people who can function well without upper management hovering over their department. He empowers our customer service director with the authority to manage her staff.
