My experience at Overline had a significant negative impact on my mental health and I would personally not recommend working there.
The culture felt extremely toxic and staff turnover was incredibly high. There was little sense of support, progression or appreciation for employees. During my time there, there were no meaningful salary increases, limited opportunities for career development, no overtime incentives and very little positive workplace culture.
Management style was often aggressive and uncomfortable. Sales meetings frequently involved shouting, and inappropriate jokes/comments were made in the workplace which many staff found unprofessional. Certain members of management were also regularly rude and dismissive towards staff, to the point that employees would leave meetings visibly upset.
One particularly upsetting incident during my time there involved a tragic death outside the office, after which staff were still expected to continue working on calls as normal. That moment really summed up the lack of care shown towards employee wellbeing.
Overall, the environment felt heavily profit-driven with very little regard for staff morale or mental health. I say this genuinely: please think carefully before accepting a role here.
