Pros
great pay, work from home, (Personally) great experience with supportive staff - but this was rare, I am told. The energy and effort you put in, you take out of the program. Mgmt is not as bad as one is told. Do the job well and there is a lot of trust given and a lot you get out of this. Including opportunity.
Cons
chaotic roll-out. massive, random lay-offs, fear, confusion for 6 months, governor of state clearly would not allow program to give funds out till last moment. This was frightening experience in how leadership's lack of understanding what contract workers needed/experienced led to a lot of bad things over time, as well as resentments. HR was not allowed in meetings, which were also not allowed to be recorded.
