Cons
This company is lost and misguided. After being bought out by someone bigger, everything has changed for the worst. Everyone is clueless about what is priority and what is not. Communication is essentially lost. After the acquisition, this company does NOT listen to or care an ounce about their employees. If you end up working here, expect to receive no positive reinforcement of any kind, to work every single Saturday, long days (with sometimes no break), be surrounded by negativity, and generally ignored unless you did something wrong in the eyes of management. This company was toxic. The blame game is common among employees. Accountability is close to nonexistent. Patients often become irate due to the company’s incompetence. Employees are not up to par due to a complete lack of proper training by management. The company is money hungry now and only cares about the numbers, even over patients, all while the eyewear selection has completely gone downhill. My advice: apply anywhere else.
