Pros
The company has been in business for over 75 years and provides a lot of stability. In our office (Round Rock) the branch manager is extremely supportive and we have an open team atmosphere. We work hard but joke around and have fun too. The company offers vacation, full health benefits, and 401K retirement. The office is located close to major roads (Toll or I-35) and is easy to access.
Cons
The software systems are constantly being upgraded, changed or literally some process is changing. It's hard to keep up with changes when information doesn't filter to our office. Overall just lack of communication from the main office in Arlington. If you’re not proactive, training can be a challenge, you may have to lead your own training initially, however the company does pay for it. Things to keep in mind, Oslin is a hydronic and mechanical plumbing sales company, so if your looking for upward mobility, then sales or branch management is the highest position available.
