I enjoyed the work I performed, I liked my fellow workers. It's a clean environment and the benefits were good.

There is a lack of training and follow up on progress of new employees. There is favoritism that affects the work flow between departments where "long term" managers have the clout to fool senior management (they know how to "game the system"). Initial pay is low with only the opportunity for a 3% annual raise for hourly staff. Slow employees are not reprimanded for low productivity and if their department manager has sufficient power within the company no one is held accountable including the manager. When management is weak within a department the staff within that department quickly becomes a scapegoat for other department shortcomings. Senior management appears to be living in an "Ivory Tower" and don't understand the dynamics or what happens on a daily basis within line staff positions that eventually affect the quality of the the workplace.
