Pros
I have been a part of Osborn Consulting for more than six years and continue to enjoy the challenges and opportunities of a growing civil engineering, landscape architecture, and urban design firm. I joined the company straight out of college in an entry-level internship position when we had less than 20 employees. Since then, I have been presented with increasing responsibilities to grow my professional skills, relationships, and internal position in the company. I have always appreciated the firm's management team's efforts to meet people where they are at while also pushing us to learn new things to better ourselves and the team. We have experienced exceptional growth over recent years, in revenue, locations, number of employees, etc. and with that has come some growing pains. But I feel fortunate to have collaborative, honest, friendly, and talented team members to face these challenges with together. We work really hard, but we also make time for fun, even when, in recent months when most of the company has been working remotely due to COVID-19.
Cons
Like I mentioned above, there have been some bumps in the road as we've worked to ensure our processes are updated to meet the recent growth of the company.
We work hard at what we do, which can mean some weeks or months can be intensive with project deadlines, but with the hard work also comes rewards.
