Pros
Pay is always on time. "Unlimited vacation" is offered (though practically hard to use) 5 "awesome days" - if you ever get to take it.
Cons
- Management fudges information like a kid hiding broccoli under mashed potatoes, it looks "fine" on the plate, but everyone knows it’s a mess underneath. - Job security is unstable, employees can be let go without cause at any time. - Leadership issues: many senior leaders have been with the company since day one and hold roles they likely wouldn’t qualify for elsewhere. - Management often appears directionless, "throwing spaghetti at the wall" to see what sticks. - Misaligned spending: while cutting budgets internally, leadership still splurges on offsites in Mexico, the irony is not lost on employees. - Toxic culture: outspoken employees or those who challenge processes are often made redundant; several senior female leaders were removed. - Unrealistic KPIs & variable comp: targets are vague, confirmed late in the year (if at all), and often unattainable. - Lack of integrity: management "fudges" numbers, makes promises to clients they know they can’t keep, and pressures employees into uncomfortable ethical situations. - Weak HR: only two people on the team, one of whom is unresponsive. Employee concerns go unresolved. - Poor communication & respect: expect to be spoken over in meetings, bulldozed by certain leaders, and made to feel insignificant. - Sales team accountability: sales are failing to actually sell projects, yet leadership faces no consequences. - Chaotic processes: processes aren’t respected, initiatives get abandoned quickly, and entire teams are hired/fired in cycles depending on leadership whims. - No real AI strategy: what’s sold to clients often isn’t built yet, more buzzwords than substance. - Morale is low: most employees have "one foot out the door" and are actively interviewing elsewhere. - Financial instability: internal whispers suggest the company’s financials aren’t strong and it may be grooming for a sale.
